This event, organized by the Canadian Coalition on Climate Change and Development (C4D), the Food Security Policy Group (FSPG), and the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), explored nature-based solutions for adaptation, including how the concept is defined, its potential and limitations for climate adaptation and biodiversity protection, and diverse case studies.
The event was followed by a meeting of the Nature-Based Solutions for Climate and Biodiversity Community of Practice, organized by Global Affairs Canada and the steering committee of the Community of Practice.
