Healthy ecosystems act as natural buffers against disasters. Detailed cartography allows us to plan and implement nature-based solutions effectively. Accurate data from ecosystem evaluation and cartography is critical for informed decision making that incorporates nature-based solutions for climate adaptation, ensuring effective and sustainable policies.

This event focused on the crucial role ecosystems play in climate resilience and adaptation through the important services they provide. It offered offer technical insights into how to assess and monitor ecosystems to reduce risks posed by climate change and biodiversity loss.
