NAbSA Dialogues — Sustainable Livelihoods and Alternative Enhancements

ONLINE

July 30, 2024

About

Nature-based solutions (NbS) are a means to combat the impacts of climate change and provide sustainable livelihood alternatives for all, including vulnerable populations.

This session will highlight the ways Partnering for Climate (P4C) projects and their partners utilize NbS to encourage and realize sustainable livelihoods within sub-Saharan Africa. The panel discussion will feature speakers from Farm Radio International, SUCO, as well as speakers with experience using NbS in agricultural landscapes, through the “Common Ground Dialogues” and the Land Health Monitoring Framework by IUCN’s Food and Agriculture Systems colleagues.

The panel will feature simultaneous French-English translation throughout the session.

This event is part of the NAbSA Dialogues series. On the last Tuesday of every month, join enriching discussions highlighting impactful NbS for climate adaptation. Discover the successes of urban and coastal ecosystems, innovative financing strategies, and the strength of community sharing within P4C projects and beyond.
